A viable alternative to a residential care home. You can have peace of mind with your loved ones receiving quality care at home from an experienced carer.
Inviting a carer to live in your home can be stressful, but with our support we will ensure you are comfortable with care.
We understand the gravity of inviting someone to live in your home and realise that a period of adjustment is required. All workers are professionals trained to deliver quality care and main privacy. We'll work to establish ongoing routines with your worker allowing maximum dignity and respect.
Services focussing on supporting the elderly, frail, or disabled with routines that are no longer possible or difficult to do alone.
We ensure our service users are given a warm and respectful approach to their care routines.
When possible we will let our users do things for themselves to encourage independence and confidence.
Our overall goal is to provide quality care to the community of service users. Our means to achieve this is by ensuring a high quality of individualised and reliable responsive care.
This style of living provides more security, rights, choice and control compared to a residential care home. Support is configured to an individual as opposed to trying to fit into an existing structure.
Users will be empowered to make choices about their living. This consists of decisions as small as their daily activities to larger decisions regarding where they live or whether they work.
Users have their own tenancy in supported living. Care 4U have contacts with housing providers which can prove beneficial in choosing housing options (if required).
Supported Living is provided in a numerous ways:
New projects timescales vary and are dependent upon the housing option or supported living requirements. During this time, we will work alongside an individual to ensure optimal supported living will be achieved. This work allows a present transition and ensures users will be content in their lives.
You may be entitled to social care funding support.
For more details contact your local authority whom will advise you further.
If you have been assessed by your council as requiring support, you will be allocated a Personal Budget.
Often, the Local Authority only provides funding to cover the basic essentials. You may wish to top up your plan and pay for some extras yourself. It is possible to do this and many of our service users do.
There are also benefits available which are not means tested.
If you have a disability or health condition you may be entitled to receive a Personal Independence Payment - helps with extra costs associated with long-term ill-health or a disability if you're aged 16 to 64.
You may be eligible to receive Attendance Allowance (AA) if you're disabled and over 65. Attendance Allowance is for providing extra help with personal care needs.
These are for those who can't, or do not wish to manage the Personal Budget allocated. A service provider such as Care 4U Services can be chosen to do this for you. Your chosen service provider will then hold your personal budget on your behalf, and you are still in control of how this is spent.
Your Personal Support Plan will be developed to depend on the outcomes that you want to achieve and the way in which your chosen service provider will support you to achieve those.

A Personal Budget is granted to those assessed as having care needs. Personal budgets have been available in England since 2008. Depending on your circumstances, or choice, you may receive your Personal Budget either as Direct Payments, or as an Individual Service Fund.
Similar to a personal budget, except made up of other sources which is granted to those with disabilities staying at home (rather than in residential care).
Direct Payments allow individuals to purchase their own care and support via a personal budget. More information about Direct Payments is available on the NHS Choices Website.
Direct Payments enables you to chose how and when your money is spent on services and/or equipment that meet your needs for care. Care 4U Services can develop a Personal Support Plan with you, ensuring your needs are met.
Our principle is that users are always at the centre of their provision. Regardless of whether support is minimal or consistent, we strive to adapt to clients need, enabling users an optimal life.
Individuals whom suffer from learning disabilities can lead fulling lives, but may require support with their daily life. This can include assistance with daily personal needs, or home assistance.
We strive to promote independence in living (when possible) and support disabled clientele to achieve the best in life.
